Logan property management

If you own a house in Greenbank, you are letting it in a suburb where 753 new rental bonds were lodged in the year to September 2026. Greenbank QLD is a large City of Logan suburb of acreage, military training land and newer estates, Everleigh among them. This guide covers what it rents for, what it is like to live in, and how we would manage your property here.

Your property in Greenbank QLD

Greenbank rents out big houses

Nearly three in four new Greenbank tenancies last quarter were four-bedroom houses. At the 2021 Census, more than one home in five had five bedrooms or more. A bigger house has more rooms and more fittings to record, and more to argue about at the end of a tenancy if nobody did. Every entry condition report has hundreds of photos and a 360° walkthrough of the whole property. Your own owner portal, showing your statements, bills, inspection reports and repair jobs at any time.

If yours is one of the newer estate homes, the record from its first tenancy is the one every later tenancy is measured against. Grant Drennan, our founder and Director, is an investor himself and the constant behind every property we manage. Living in Greenbank

Greenbank is named after a cattle property

Greenbank was once called Teviot, and takes its present name from William Slack’s cattle property, Greenbank. Europeans settled the district from the 1840s, and Greenbank Provisional School opened in 1893. Until 15 March 2008 the suburb was split between Logan and the Shire of Beaudesert. The Greenbank Military Range, on the Commonwealth Heritage List, is inside the boundary.

Greenbank Shopping Centre and a Woolworths are both mapped in the suburb, and the council has run the Greenbank Community Centre and Library on Teviot Road since March 2008. About 37 named parks and five nature reserves are mapped in the suburb, among them Everleigh Park, Greenwood Lakes Reserve, the James Smith Recreation Area and the White Rock – Spring Mountain Conservation Estate. Blue Grass and Teviot Downs are among the suburb’s estates, and Everleigh State School opened in January 2022.

Schools

Greenbank has two state primary schools of its own

State primary schools: Greenbank State School’s catchment covers most of the suburb’s land, and Everleigh State School, Park Ridge State School and Boronia Heights State School cover smaller parts. Much of that land is acreage and military range, so it says little about which catchment a particular estate is in.

State secondary schools: there is no high school in Greenbank. Most of the suburb is in the Park Ridge State High School catchment for Years 7 to 12, and a small part is in Springfield Central State High School’s.

Non-state schools: none is inside Greenbank. Nearby: Parklands Christian College in Park Ridge, St Peters Lutheran College Springfield and The Springfield Anglican College, all Prep to Year 12.

Catchments change, and the boundary follows streets, not suburbs. Check any address on the Queensland Government’s school catchment map before you rely on it.

Getting around

Greenbank's nearest train is at Springfield Central

There is no railway station in Greenbank. The nearest is Springfield Central, about 11 minutes by road from Greenbank State School and about 19 minutes from Everleigh. Springfield Central also has a university campus and a hospital. Teviot Road runs through the built-up part of the suburb. By road and without traffic from Greenbank State School, Browns Plains is about 15 minutes away (12.0 km), Brisbane’s CBD about 37 minutes (38.9 km) and Brisbane Airport about 44 minutes (48.9 km).

Worth knowing

Three things a Greenbank owner can look up

  • Flood maps: Logan City Council’s flood maps page and the Logan Flood Portal show flood information for an address. The council endorsed changes to its flood overlay on 6 October 2026; they are not yet in effect.
  • Teviot Road: the council is widening Teviot Road to four lanes between Greenbank Road and the Middle Road roundabout, in stages. The primary works on Stage 1A, from Greenbank Shopping Centre to just south of the James Smith Recreation Area, are complete, and the council has no timeline yet for later stages.
  • Population growth in 2024-25: Logan’s economic development office put the wider Greenbank – North Maclean area third among Queensland’s fastest-growing areas, at 14.2% in the year.
