Gold Coast property management

If you own a house or a townhouse in Pacific Pines, you own what almost every renter there lives in: of 1,678 rented homes at the last Census, only four were units. Pacific Pines QLD is a planned suburb in the City of Gold Coast, between the Pacific Motorway and the Nerang State Forest. This guide covers what Pacific Pines rents for, what it is like to live in and how we would manage your property here.

Your property in Pacific Pines

Pacific Pines is a suburb of four-bedroom family homes

More than half of Pacific Pines’ homes have four bedrooms, and nearly one resident in four is under 15. Couples with children are the largest family type. If you don’t live nearby, you want to see what is happening at your property without having to ask. Your own owner portal, showing your statements, bills, inspection reports and repair jobs at any time.

A family-sized weekly rent is a large amount to fall behind on. If rent falls behind, your tenant hears from us every day from day 1, and on day 8 we issue the breach notice the legislation allows. Grant Drennan, our founder and Director, is an investor himself and the constant behind every property we manage. Start with a free Investor Portfolio Review: a look at your whole portfolio, not just the one property. Rental appraisals are free, with no obligation.

Living in Pacific Pines

Pacific Pines became a suburb in its own right in 2003

Pacific Pines was master-planned by Stockland, which bought the land in 1990. It was gazetted in 1994 as a neighbourhood within Gaven and became a suburb in its own right in 2003. Its schools came with it: Pacific Pines State High School opened in 2000, Jubilee Primary School in 2001, Pacific Pines State School in 2002 and Park Lake State School in 2008.

Pacific Pines Town Centre is on Pitcairn Way, with a Woolworths on Hotham Drive. Nerang National Park lies along the suburb’s edge. The suburb has a community hall, cricket fields, netball, AFL and tennis courts and two off-leash dog parks, and the Pacific Pines Panthers basketball club began in 2013.

Schools

All of Pacific Pines is in the Pacific Pines State High School catchment

State primary schools: most of Pacific Pines is in the Pacific Pines State School catchment, a large part is in the Park Lake State School catchment, and a small part is in Gaven State School’s. Pacific Pines State School is on Santa Isobel Boulevard, and Park Lake State School on Shoalhaven Avenue.

State secondary schools: the whole suburb is in the Pacific Pines State High School catchment for Years 7 to 12.

Non-state schools in Pacific Pines: Jubilee Primary School (Catholic, Prep to Year 6), on Manra Way. No other non-state school is within about 2 km of the suburb.

Catchments change, and the boundary follows streets, not suburbs. Check any address on the Queensland Government’s school catchment map before you rely on it.

  • Flood levels: the City of Gold Coast’s Flood level search gives the designated flood level for a property. The council notes it covers riverine flooding only, not local flash flooding.
  • Townhouses: Pacific Pines has 1,235 townhouses, and 957 of them are two storeys or more.
  • Planning: the council’s City Plan interactive mapping shows flood depth and the flood overlay for any Pacific Pines address.
