Logan property management

If you own a house in Logan Reserve, you are letting it in a suburb where 353 new rental bonds were lodged in the September 2026 quarter. Logan Reserve is a City of Logan suburb on the Logan River, about 29 km from Brisbane's CBD in a straight line. This guide covers what it rents for, what it is like to live in, and how we would manage your property here.

Your property in Logan Reserve

Most Logan Reserve homes had four bedrooms at the 2021 Census

At the 2021 Census, 1,205 of Logan Reserve’s 2,069 homes had four bedrooms. Four-bedroom houses are still the biggest group of new leases: 154 of the 353 signed last quarter. A house is never easier to describe than on the day its first tenant moves in. Every entry condition report has hundreds of photos and a 360° walkthrough of the whole property. No money spent on repairs or maintenance without your approval, except emergency repairs the law allows.

Two in three Logan Reserve families had children at home in 2021. The house you let is somebody’s family home. What Logan Reserve rents for

What new Logan Reserve tenancies were signed at last quarter

You want to know what Logan Reserve rents for before you decide anything. Here are the RTA’s median weekly rents for new tenancies in Logan Reserve, for the homes with enough new leases to rely on.

Type and bedrooms Median weekly rent Quarter
All homes $600 September 2026
House, 4 bedrooms $695 September 2026
House, 3 bedrooms $570 September 2026
House, 2 bedrooms $480 September 2026
Townhouse, 3 bedrooms $580 September 2026
Townhouse, 2 bedrooms $480 September 2026

Townhouses are new to this table: the RTA had published a three-bedroom townhouse median here only once before, in September 2023, and never a two-bedroom one. One-bedroom flats are left out: their median has moved too much over the past two years to rely on, on 15 leases a quarter.

Living in Logan Reserve

Logan Reserve began when farmland was released to settlers in 1862

Logan Reserve’s story starts in 1862, when 500,000 acres of the Logan Agricultural Reserve were released to settlers. Cotton came first, then timber, farming and tobacco. The local school took the name Logan Reserve State School on 1 August 1914. Today acreage homes in bushland sit beside suburban-style streets.

The Logan River runs along the suburb’s edge, and about 18 named parks are mapped inside it, among them Henderson Park, Flindersia Riverside Park, Logan Reserve Riverside Park and the Schmidts Creek corridor. There is a Woolworths supermarket in the suburb. On the Crestmead Logistics Estate, just beyond the suburb’s northern neighbour, Mapletree Logistics Park was announced by Logan’s economic development office in 2021 as nine warehouses on 36 hectares.

State primary schools: most of the suburb is in the Logan Reserve State School catchment, with smaller parts in the Corymbia State School and Marsden State School catchments and a sliver in Waterford State School’s.

State secondary schools: nearly all of the suburb is in the Marsden State High School catchment for Years 7 to 12, and there is no state secondary school inside it.

Catchments change, and the boundary follows streets, not suburbs. Check any address on the Queensland Government’s school catchment map before you rely on it.
