Logan property management
If you own a townhouse in Park Ridge, you are not letting an unusual home here: one in seven new tenancies signed in the suburb last quarter was a townhouse. Park Ridge QLD is a City of Logan suburb about 26 km from Brisbane's CBD in a straight line, with its own town centre and state high school. This guide covers what Park Ridge rents for, what it is like to live in, and how we would manage your property here.
Your property in Park Ridge QLD
More than a thousand new tenancies start in Park Ridge each year
In the twelve months to September 2026, 1,149 new rental bonds were lodged in Park Ridge. Each of those is a tenant somebody chose. Every rental application is reviewed in detail and checked for accuracy: identity, references and tenancy databases, following Queensland’s legislation. If we wouldn’t put them in our own home, we won’t put them in yours.
Townhouses are a bigger part of the mix here than in Logan Reserve, Yarrabilba or Greenbank: 442 of the 1,497 homes rented in 2021 were townhouses. Every maintenance request is acknowledged straight away and reviewed by your property manager within one business day. Grant Drennan, our founder and Director, is an investor himself and the constant behind every property we manage. Start with a free Investor Portfolio Review: a look at your whole portfolio, not just the one property. Rental appraisals are free, with no obligation.

What Park Ridge QLD rents for
What new Park Ridge tenancies were signed at last quarter
You want to know what Park Ridge rents for before you decide anything. Here are the RTA’s median weekly rents for new tenancies in Park Ridge, for the homes with enough new leases to rely on.
| Type and bedrooms | Median weekly rent | Quarter |
|---|---|---|
| All homes | $650 | September 2026 |
| House, 4 bedrooms | $700 | September 2026 |
| House, 3 bedrooms | $590 | September 2026 |
| House, 2 bedrooms | $480 | September 2026 |
Townhouse medians are left out: the three-bedroom one swings too much from quarter to quarter to rely on, and the two-bedroom one moved in a single quarter, on 20 leases. Units are left out too: the 2021 Census counted none in Park Ridge, and we could not confirm what the RTA’s few unit leases here are.

A median is the middle of every new lease across the suburb, not a figure for your home. Rental appraisals are free, with no obligation.
Living in Park Ridge
Park Ridge was named for its park-like country
Park Ridge was first called Logan Ridges, and was renamed in the early 1890s for its park-like country. Park Ridge Provisional School opened on 23 April 1895 and became a state school in 1909. The district grew tobacco in the 1930s, and then poultry.
Park Ridge Town Centre has both a Woolworths and a Coles, the second added when the centre was extended in 2016. About 16 named parks are mapped in the suburb, including Park Ridge District Park, Hubner Park, Logan West Parklands and Park Ridge Conservation Park, and so is Boronia Bushland Reserve. Industrial land is mapped inside the boundary too: Mapletree Logistics Park and the Transit Industrial Estate. The Mount Lindesay Highway forms the suburb’s western edge, Chambers Flat Road its eastern, and Park Ridge Road runs through the middle.

Schools
Park Ridge has a new state primary school, opened in 2025
State primary schools: more than half of the suburb is in the catchment of Corymbia State School, which opened on 28 January 2025, and about a third is in the Park Ridge State School catchment. Small parts are in three other catchments. The State planned Corymbia for 500 foundation students, growing to more than 1,400 by 2027.
State secondary schools: most of Park Ridge is in the Park Ridge State High School catchment for Years 7 to 12, with small parts in the Browns Plains and Marsden State High School catchments.
Non-state schools in Park Ridge: Parklands Christian College and St Philomena School, both Prep to Year 12. Nearby: the Australian International Islamic College in Logan Reserve (Prep to Year 10), St Francis College in Crestmead (Catholic, Prep to Year 12) and St Bernardine’s in Regents Park (Catholic, Prep to Year 6).
Catchments change, and the boundary follows streets, not suburbs. Check any address on the Queensland Government’s school catchment map before you rely on it.

Three things a Park Ridge owner can look up
- Flood maps: Logan City Council’s flood maps page and the Logan Flood Portal show flood information for an address. The council endorsed changes to its flood overlay on 6 October 2026; they are not yet in effect.
- A community space: the council’s 2026-27 budget has $5.6 million for a community space at 503-547 Park Ridge Road, on the corner of Chambers Flat Road, now in detailed design, with opening anticipated in late 2027.
- The draft Logan Plan: the council’s draft planning scheme drew more than 4,000 submissions, still under review in February 2026. Check its current status on the council’s Logan Plan page.
